Dietitian
Dietitians are highly skilled, senior practitioners, with expert knowledge in the management of patients’ dietary issues and conditions. They work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) within the PCN.
We can support you with:
Dietitians provide interventions for patients from initial clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care within set patient groups. They demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the general practice. They work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary general practice teams to meet the needs of our patients.
Dietitians have experience of working in health, social care roles including direct contact with people, families or carers. They work with a diverse range of people from different cultural and social backgrounds. The ability to work confidently and effectively in a varied and sometimes challenging environment is essential to the Dietitians role.
